Dangerous Girls
Their Bandcamp page describes themselves as “Prog-punk band and Birmingham’s best cult secret Dangerous Girls formed in 1978, disbanded in 1982“
They produced numerous singles that saw them gradually disappearing up their own backsides. This one eponymous debut single however, is excellent and highly recommended Dangerous Girls / I Don’t Want To Eat ( With The Family) (1979 Happy Face Records) which is featured in the video below and recorded live at The White Horse Inn, Launceston, November 28 1980. Love the pegs in the hair!
One of those bands that over the years more of their live and studio recordings have come out so check out that Bandcamp page as as recently as 2023 there has been new stuff released and well worth checking out.
