At 15 years of age Morris Gould founded a punk rock band, The Ripchords, whose sole release, an eponymous EP with four tracks, was championed by the BBC Radio One DJ John Peel. Its another one of those singles that just  kept appearing  and features a mighty fine toon in the shape of ‘Ringing in The Streets’ (Cells Records 1979).Tuneful  punk with sepulchral vocals and deep growling bass.

Morris would later go to get involved with clubs and mixing and tour with The Shamen as a DJ and be heavily involved in Acid House.
